A few weeks ago I had the great pleasure of climbing a classic multi-pitch Very Severe climb that’s been on my ‘hit list’ for a very long time. Eliminate A on Dow Crag. As Lee wasn’t keen to lead anything at Very Severe grade, I was lucky enough to get to lead every pitch, something that is quite unusual for me on such a sought-after route.

Lee off to ‘bag’ the summit of Dow Crag.

Me, thoroughly enjoying leading every pitch of this classic VS route!
